FAQs

Bag Policy

For your safety and the enjoyment of the event a  bag policy is in effect. Please make sure you review the Music Festival In The Park Entry Policy which outlines the festival rules and our new and improved bag policy. Dallas Pride strongly encourages attendees to not bring any type of bag or container, which allows for faster entry through the “No Bag” lane at the entrance. If you do bring a bag or container, you’ll be subject to search in the other lines by contracted private security personnel. Patrons arriving with a bag or container that is not permissible will be denied entry. Dallas Pride does not accept any liability for unattended, lost, or stolen items. Each individual person accepts and assumes full responsibility and liability for their unattended, lost, or stolen items.

The policy can be found here:

In the event of inclement weather attendees can take shelter inside the Automotive or Centennial buildings. Outdoor events will resume once it's safe, weather permitting.

If you are unable to attend you may "transfer" your ticket by sending the person you are giving the ticket to the e-mail with your E-Ticket or the E-Ticket you received by text message. Note that once a ticket has been scanned it is used and cannot be reactivated. Dallas Pride is not responsible for lost, stolen, or fraudulent 3rd party ticket purchases. If you are unable to transfer your ticket to someone else there are no refunds for any reason. Dallas Pride is a 501c3 charity and profits from all tickets including unused tickets go to our 2019 beneficiaries. We are sorry if circumstances prevent you from attending but know the price of your admission is helping others in our community.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You may either bring your printed ticket or show your e-ticket on your phone to enter the festival.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Everyone is welcome at the festival! Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. There are no minimum age requirements to attend however there are age restrictions for the Family Pride Zone and Teen Pride Zones. ALL alcohol sales require a valid photo ID and are restricted to persons age 21 and older.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is ample parking around Fair Park. Parking rates are $10 and parking is controlled by the city. Dallas Pride has no control over the parking rates nor do we receive any revenue from parking. We strongly encourage people to carpool, utilize DART Rail, or rideshare services such as UBER and LYFT to reach and depart from the festival. The DART Rail Green Line will drop you off right at the front gates of Fair Park. NOTE: We are aware of the ongoing DART rail construction downtown right now. DART has assured us there will be ample buses and staff on hand at stations to help you navigate DART rail to the festival. It should add no more than 5-10 minutes to your journey.

What can I bring into the event?
